I am so excited, just wanted to share!! I am 4 weeks post op from receiving my new friend. This weekend I finally was able to see the silver lining; I knew it would come, but was starting to get a bit discouraged at when that time was going to come. After my surgery, I continued to have extreme fatigue, and some shortness of breath as well as some tachycardic episodes. I have had some tweeks in my settings and noticed some minor improvements. I still continued to drag through my day. However, this weekend I was able to rise bright and early, not nap, managed to get through my rotations (9 hours) at school, come home take a short run both days, and I still feel like I have energy. I feel better than I have in a long time. Yes, I still have some discomfort and twangs of pain periodically in my arm, armpit, and breast; but I finally noticed the grass is greener on the other side. I just wanted to share my good news with everyone. I am grateful for this website, and the amount of peace it has brought me.

I'd say mine was about 6 wks too. Got my PM 13 June. I just got done putting in a 70 hr week helping to install a new art exhibit at the gallery I volunteer at. The opening was Saturday and people were amazed. It was a great feeling watching peoples reaction. I was exhausted, but it was a good tired!
I think you'll keep feeling better and better.

It may be the first time we've felt a normal heart rhythm in a long time, so of course it seems too fast and too strong.
What a nice report

So nice to hear that you are over the hump and feeling good. It's nice to hear the success stories and the triumphs. Hopefully, it continues to get even better with time. Congratulations!
