I have just had a pacemaker fitted and wondered if I could get a plastic credit card style card to carry in my wallet rather than the whole fold up thing I've been given. Does anybody know?

You should get it in the mail about four to six weeks after your procedure. it will come from the manufacturer of your Device. you can give them a call and ask if it has been sent to you yet. the phone number is on your paper one.

Hi Harvey J,
I received a temporary card from doctor and within 2 weeks I received my permanent plastic card from the implant company. As a side note, I wish they would make a key chain style one to go with it, like the grocery stores do. . I think that would be handy and helpful in case of emergency.

I wasn't really self-conscious about it. I didn't even know I had one until around six or seven years old. I just thought I had a rock in my side.
