Just saying hi to all. I just joined today. Actually "got wired" in June of 2013. Have had idiopathic cardiomyopathy since 2003, but was controlled with medications. Recently had routine echo, which showed heart had enlarged significantly and EJ was 24. That's below what it was before initial diagnosis. Hence, the trip to the electrician and a diagnosis of CHF and installation of ICD. Things seem fine so far. Ran across this site by accident and thought it might be a good thing to join. Wishing you all good days with no problems.

Welcome!!! you will find such relief to know you are not alone.
there is so many compassionate people with knowledge and wonderful advice on here. I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy last year. My Doctors believe it was from a virus. got my device may 2013. Have a great weekend!!!
