My Latest Blog on Sensing

This is how the pacemaker sees what your heart is doing!

Give it a read and it will hopefully explain a few things that us Technicians talk about...

Why not just copy and past your information here? Saves me some time if I think I would like to read it.

Just my 2¢ worth :)

Great comment! CT wants people to visit his site, so he's not going to actually share the information here, but will only re-direct us to his site. I have critized this before, and will continue to do so. It's it's promotion and advertisement, nothing else.

Inga, all I can say is I'm glad we have people like you here, who are scientist and give advice willingly and freely.

Keep up the good work you do for us here at the PaceMaker Club.

You asked...

...I'll answer.

You asked on 7/31 "What would you like me to say exactly?"

For starters, you are a trained professional in the PM business. I believe for ethical reasons, you need to make a Bio sketch entry on the member list for the world to read. I routinely look up that page on everyone I write a note to or have serious interest in their post/comment. That comes under what I would call "Full Disclosure." We have several others who fall into that category & there is a mixed bag as far as creating bio sketches.

2) As Inga & several others have commented, it looks like you are taking advantage of an established, functional, successful site to troll for correspondents for your own start-up Blog. Not really an ethical thing to do. Inasmuch as the owner of the site, Blake, spent a lot of effort putting it together, I'm not sure that he appreciates it, even though he has said nothing about it. Were I the owner, I'd have said something to you several weeks ago. The constant links to your site in every post you make is not appropriate. It is purely and simply advertising.

3) When you first came to our site, I went to read yours. There appeared the same material that you posted in response to someone's question - without attribution for the site it was created on. Hardly a class act. I have not had the time to go back to your Blog, but from what I read that Inga has written, I suspect that there are no significant changes.

4) The constant promotion of your own Blog strikes me as gaining free advertising - I'm sure that Blake sells adverts on this site to help pay his costs for the site. Not good form in my book. I'm sure that he would add your link to his "Web Links" section in the left column.

5) It is good to have a trained Tech as a resource, but if you want to participate in this site, make yourself available to us for answers to technical device questions separately from your own Blog. Sign off on your answers w/ a real name, your degree & your job title - For example: Freddie; Bsc; PM Tech. And - fill in the bio info in your registration page.

6) All your actions so far are those of a pirate trying to take over a ship.

I am just grateful to God that I lived long enough to have my ICD put in. So many people are not as lucky as us; even though we sometimes don't feel lucky.
