I got my PM mid april of this year. I have a 4 year old and a 6 year old and yes it is had to explain to your children what is happening but they will understand, make them comfortable with the idea and your partner needs to be supportive. it will take sometime to adjust to the change but as a mother you wont have a problem with that trust me. you learn to deal with it, just remember when you get your PM when you start to feel better let your children see it and touch it don't hide from them they need to understand what you are going through because remember what they see is their mom going through a change and not understanding why. open communication with your loved ones is the key to a great recovery. GOOD LUCK

I'm hoping someone can answer me, I'm 34 and after all these years trying to find out what wad wrong with me my doctor tells me that I needed a PM so I got one this past April. I used to exercise daily but I find that after I had my PM implanted I'm not able to run as long and as fast as I used to. does anyone have ideas?
