wonder if you notice?

Can anyone tell me if you notice when the pacemaker kicks on, I can't or I'm not aware of it.

Betty
At first I felt it a lot. Then the doc changed the settings (he said he was changing the "output") at my three month check up. Since then I don't notice it very often at all. I have 3rd degree heart block and a St. Jude PM. Hope this helps.

No-- I can't feel it and I'm happy about that. All I feel is good.

Whenever my heart rythm is out of sync, then I feel it like zapping on and off, then it stops.

when I first got mine, I could feel when I paced the ventricle. not very often Pacer rep says it might have been in a thin part of the heart muscle. . don't feel it as much now but when I do it feels like it is in a different location. Hope my lead didn't move but have doc apt next week and Merlin checkup this Friday.

I notice when my PM is working. I don't usually mind but once in a while it does bother me. But usually I'm ok with it.
