14.4 miles today through the beautiful fall countryside. There are subtle seasonal changes every week now and I love connecting with nature this way. Grateful for the pm. Settings aren't great for running so I'm running slow, which takes longer but I get to savor the beauty of the countryside more. It's all good.

Good to hear from you. Fall is settling in here in the Midwest, the corn and soybean field that were green two weeks ago are golden now. Seems early this year but times flies faster and faster these days.

After 17 years of life with a pacemaker, and being just short of 3 score years and 10, I realise just what you mean by connecting with nature - except I do it from a bike saddle. My club mates still talk about times, distances, turbo-trainers and medals (as I once did), but miss the stuff that really matters!

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.
Just keep running
