post op day 2

Im up early this morning. Slept pretty good. Amazingly im not as sore as i was yesterday. Only hurts and feels tight with certain movements. Hubby gies back to work today so it will be me and my 12 yr old home today. Will be taking iy easy. Dont have much energy to do much of anything. I would like to thank all of you for helping me get through the first part of this journey. Couldnt have done it without you! God Bless!

Thanks guys! I am chillin in my comfy chair, feet up and resting my PM arm on a pillow. It helps me remember not to lift too much. yes it is super hot here in DC. I sat on the deck early this morning drinking coffee but i cant go out there anymore. The heat and humidity is gross!

I hope everyone is doing ok. One of my coworkers is going to stop by this evening. I look like crap! My hair is a hot mess! Does anyone know if it will hurt my scar to lean back in the shampoo bowl? I need to get my hair done so bad.

Happy to hear that all went well for you. Usually, each day gets a little better than the last after surgery... Glad that you have someone at home with you...take it easy and just rest. Get that 12 yr old to take good care of you. You will probably hear from Grateful Heart... she seems to be following me lately ( LOL )
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and wish you a speedy recovery...

Acin: Now the healing part begins. Like Lou said, each day will be better. If it's as hot in DC as it is here, take it easy and stay cool. I had a bout with the heat yesterday....not sure who won....like to think it was a tie.

So stay cool and hydrated. I bet your 12 yr old would love to reverse roles with you for a few days.
