Got it!

Morning,

Got my device put in yesterday. I was scheduled to be at the hospital at 10:00a but doctor called and asked if i could come earlier. It took 45 min for the pricedure. Doc said everything went well. Last nite was not good. Had lots of pain and didnt sleep well at all. Taking Percocet for pain. Still in hospital. Cant wait to go home. Im very, very tired! Glad its over.

Happy to hear that the procedure went well... Like
"they" say... the waiting is the hardest part..( Tom Petty song? ) anyway, now you can relax and give yourself time to heal. Hope you don't have to stay in the hospital too long...Not the best place to get rest huh...

Took me many months to feel better, I hope you will take only hours! Angrysparrow's advice is very wise, do not over do, my doc here always tell me that.

Came home today. Took a 3 hr nap when I got home. I'm taking it easy. My family has been great! I hate looking at my scar. Percocet works great for pain but doc didn't send me home on it. I'm very very tired! Going to bed soon. Thanks for thinking of me.

I had similar things after mine. I had mine put in about 5 weeks ago. Discomfort from surgery took a few days to diminish for me. I think I took Tylenol for about 3 days and then reduced to none by about 5 days. I didn't sleep really well for a while. I think some of it was anxiety and not trusting in my PM, but as others on this site have said, my new PM is much much more reliable than my own old pacer system. For me sleep got much better once I realised how true that is.

Hope you're out of the hospital soon and feeling much better. You've found a great site to support you.

I am so Happy to hear everything went so well!!! you will be sore for a little bit. you will feel so much better in the long run. and you are in the best place for any questions you may have. if something did'nt seem right to me I got on here typed my issue in search. I was to chicken to start posting.LOL!! I hope you get to go home today!!!

Your scar will heal and it'll get lighter and lighter.
I had some pain with the pocket but extra strength tylenol helped me.
