No, I am not from Australia, but watched the 8 season McLeod's Daughter's series on Netflix and Hulu Plus. Took me 7 months but loved it and recommend it to ya'll.
Yes, I am from the south....Tennessee to be exact. Have lived all my life around these parts in Nashville.
This is my first post, so I am a little wet behind the years on what to talk about....but here goes.
I have had heart palpitations since I was 17....about to turn 70 in August, so I have had to learn to live with them. Hated the times when I would get pooped much too quick in the daytime to do all I wanted too. However, I was not plagued with the paps on a daily basis, just now and then.
After have my two kids the paps began to pick up and heart rate began to drop. Thus 18 months ago I had petered out and my rate was in 40's in the day and 30's at night. Doc said the time had come to have a PM. I had also had some AFibs, three to be exact so I was nervous about throwing a clot.
I am now 99% PM dependant. I nearly fainted when I learned about that. Still don't know as much as I'd like too, but figure I will learn from some of you. Have taken a peek and saw where a couple of ya'll had to have replacements in 3 yrs because of low batteries....! Not happy about that.
Thanx for reading my long story. Just hit the high spots.
Take care and be blessed.

Glad you found us. I am 100% dependent, so faint no more, many of us are and it's ok. I hope you are feeling better now and find you have more energy. Read all you can here, you will learn so much and ask any questions.
When I was in my 20's, my friends and I went to Nashville. I like most music and I am a big country music fan. Words and songs from the heart!
We went to Tootsie's Orchid Lounge and down Music Row strip saw Kenny Rogers perform before he become well known. My friends were impressed that I planned the trip so well, they thought they were going to be bored but loved every minute of it. It was a fun trip and brings back many great memories since by best friend of 40+ years is no longer with us now.
Take care,
