Wow!!!! What a quick response from so many of you. I'm going to like this group. My Drs did explain how a PM worked but I was skeptical. You confirmed his explanation I was cardioverted today...now I have get the fluid off my lungs. I'm 65 and have been dealing with this since I was 40 and to my amazement, I'm still learning. Thank you all for your help. Ill be back!!
