Hi, this is my first post after receiving the Medtronic Adapta whatever 10 days ago. Doing pretty well, but experiencing postural hypotension still. Cardiologist recommends full length compression stockings. Do any of you wear them and do you know where to buy them? My insurance will cover, but Walgreens considers them over-the-counter.
Thanks for any advice.

.....if you live in Canada - any pharmacy can get them for you.
....if you live in the United States - you could probably order them from the Mayo Clinic - that is where I got mine.
Take care,
Pookie

........................my knowledge on the subject of Postural Hypertension is..nothing........But..
I have some knowledge of the world of running.
Compression wear has, over the last 6 / 7 years, been widely embraced by the sporting community, as in, endorsed by trainers and coaches, plus the medical profession.
The benefiets claimed are..improved blood flow and improved 'recovery' after effort....indeed many athletes in Elite and Global, use compression leg stockings.
An idea ..punch in Compression Wear into your search and see what comes up
