Possible Defibrillator Problem

I had my first pacemaker implanted in 2003, Hardly ever knew I even had it. That one lasted almost 9 years and then was replaced with the second device. In early 2014 Dr. detected some evidence of fluttering/fibrillation and implanted a Defibrillator. All units were Medtronic. With both Pacemaker I was able to be very active and until the Defibrillator was implanted I could walk 15 to 20 miles a week. After the Defibrillator implant I never could get back to the old energy level and have had much more difficulty with shortness of breath. Medtronic tech says the unit is operating as it should be and I do have a bedside wireless monitor. However, I still feel much worse than with the Pacemakers. Has anyone else had a similar experience. I really wish I had stayed with just the Pacemaker.

Thank you for your comments. That makes a lot of sense and I will ask that my settings be reset to the old settings.

Thanks!

I do have appt. with my GP this week. Also an appt with my Pulmonologist next week. The breathing tests at the pulmonologist had been steadily improving until this year after the new device was implanted. Calling the Cardiologist today to move my appt up. With similar symptoms for CHF and COPD it's difficult to get an accurate diagnosis. The pulmonologist seems to think it is more heart related. Do appreciate these responses!
