ICD's

by knoxvicki@yahoo.com - 2013-04-07 04:04:51

Being able to laugh at myself has been the best medicine for adjusting to my new normal. As we were watching reruns of Star Trek last night my husband looked at me and said, "Hey, How's it feel being 1st generation BORG!"
I responded "Resistance is Frutile"

Don't own too much that is designer other than my wedding china and now my St.Jude Biventricular ICD - Must be moving up in the world!!!!

Asked my EP on day 2 about staying in the hospital another day- His response as he walked over the the window shade to raise it "But Ms. Vicki why do you want to stay it's a beautiful day! Go enjoy life. Needless to say he's young, male and single. No a clue of the busy life of a working MOM (lol)

My ICD/pacer is not a burden. I still play tennis and golf.
