emps

With all the talk about North Korea and emps, does anyone know what happens to people who have icd's in. Is there anyway to protect yourself? This thought is terrifying to me.

Being the sci-fi nerd that I am, I have had similar thoughts. However, like Cbg Patch said, if an EMP were to hit, it is generally a very short time period before the nuclear cloud melts everything in its path. So, you probably wouldn't know that your ICD is no longer working at that point!

The rays that come from the sun, at this point, are generally not strong enough to effect your device. Such rays are less powerful than those frequencies sent out through a car alternator during operation. I would agree not to worry about such things. It will only make you older faster, and who here wants that!
