Getting "Unplugged".....Part 2

Visited cardiologist this morning. He was happy to see me feeling well. He informed me that the infection which resulted in my pacemaker removal was contained in the sac where the pacemaker was. None of the infection had spread to my bloodstream. (I never had a fever during my entire 7-day stay in the hospital.) Had this happened he said I would have had endocarditis and would have been on IV antibiotics for months. As of this visit, he says that I don't need to have a pacemaker put back in. There may be a time later on, where I may need one, but now is not that time. I go back to see him again in three months.
