Final decision

After two months of not working and a month and a half of waiting for a final decision, we finally have one. I will be getting a single lead pacemaker. It was a trying two months and it proves to me God works in mysterious ways and knows what we need. When this started as a typical epileptic seizure for which I was hospitalized for in January, we had no idea where that would lead us. I am thankful for the neurologist that mentioned my slow heart rate and thought of the connection. I am grateful now for my boss who "forced" me to take short term disability until I felt better. If I would have ignored her and just kept going I would not have found the proper treatment. A lot of what ifs, but thankful for the gift to have the chance to feel better.
I hope to have the surgery in the next couple weeks. Of course, my surgeon is going on vacation. My procedure will be complicated and he has to figure out how he is going to place it. I am willing to go through my 24th surgery to feel better than I do now.
