juju is wired!!

and pacing along. All went good during surgery - was hoping to sleep through it all because I was so nervous and the nurse did give me the conscious sedation drugs but I was awake the whole time. It was not bad at all!! The Dr. had a little trouble with getting the atrium lead attached due to all the scar tissue from previous Maze procedure so she had to do a "McGyver" with the lead - but it worked! My first night home I had some palpitations along with burning in chest which I think was a panic attack! I have dealt with those before and DO NOT want those back!! The palpitations I had prior to PM so I guess those will keep happening. But I was kinda scared feeling all that not knowing what to expect - so I took some Xanax and it seemed to help
But, I do feel 100% better - just need to get through the next 4 weeks and the soreness. Thanks for all the support! My Dr.was impressed that I knew so much about the procedure etc. I said "Pacemaker Club!!"
Keep well,
juju

That is half the battle...good for you!. So glad to hear all went well. Listen to Doctors orders, take the time for recovery and the rest will follow.

Look into Cardiac Rehab when you are ready. I can't say enough wonderful things about it.

Glad you are feeling better,

Grateful Heart

I'm glad you're on the other side of this

I had been following your posts and was unable to respond due to the computer problems that the site was having. I'm glad that it went well...and you feel 100% better is great.

You know you're wired when...

You always run anti-virus software.
