Magnets and a PM

Most magnets do not have enough magnetic pull or force (whatever you would like to call it) to have little or any effect on you.. The ones that will effect you is the rare earth magnets..they are very strong and will have an effect on you just like the ones the nurses use when you go in to have a PM check. but still they have to be right on top of your PM..so there is not to much to worry about just remember the 6" rule and you will be just fine...

Overly Simplified...

...What about am MRI machine? I've been in an MRI on idle between patients & the field was so strong to tried to pull my wife's high heels out of my hand & into the tunnel - just from the tugging on the small spikes holding the plaastic tips on the heel.

This is not a simple situation. We all are different, as are our PM's & ICD's with respect to interaction w/ magnets.
