Ask at your pacemaker check up!

The battery life is monitored and an estimate of life expectancy given on the print out at your check up. To suddenly run out of battery life is not an option. Interestingly, in 9 months my battery voltage has increased 0.1volt!
I any wondering whether like a generator, when you exercise it charges up the battery?
Not a serious thought, though some engineer will surely come up with the piezoelectric charger, making battery replacement a thing of the past for those that are active.
The pacemaker itself does not produce tiredness when correctly adjusted. There are many athletes with pacemakers. Sailing, why not? Go on a fitness programme and enjoy life as prior to implant. Tiredness is a common symptom of a lot of other things- having a pacemaker is not one of those.
