E-Mail Addresses as Screen Names

This is an open letter to EVERYONE!

I've seen several members using their e-mail address as a screen name.

VERY BAD PRACTICE! Nasty people troll these kind of web sites to find just such screen names & addresses out in the open.

What they do with them is anyone's guess - but you can safely bet that it is NOT anything that the owner appreciates after the fact.

Strongly suggest that if you are among these folks that you go into the admin section & edit it to delete your address.

A good while ago someone gave out a phone number to help someone else.

Commendable stuff.......BUT......not clever.

There is so much that we can do to support eachother, and long may that continue. Anonymity is only best broken in the safe cloister that is Private Message.

I don't use my email address, but I have been using my full name. No bad things have happened but I've now chosen a neutral screen name. Thanks.
