I look forward to the results of your interview.
There is always the possibility, of course, that Crystal normally uses the name MissWhiplash.com in which case I still look forward to a full report !!
Cheers
Ian

Website is:
http://www.health-eheartstudy.org/
But I don't know anything about them. I'd want to find out more about the organization before I'd start handing out information. Obviously, worst case would be a scam. Or maybe they want to get you involved and then start soliciting for money.
The other question is how they got your private e-mail? We use what the CB radio crowd used to call "handles" here to help keep anonymity. So how did they find you?
While working at one company they said, "If it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't." Use caution.

her first message to me clearly stated she's with medpagetoday.com , not the study, but never said what the connection is or why she wants to talk to people participating in the study.
She's got my email Address

I checked out her suspicius address she used to get a reply.
medpagetoday.com looked OK. I deleted what I received & sent. Looks like I'll have to change my email address as I get near 100 spam each day prior to this.

...Especially the female Guy!
She did not send it to my personal real e-mail address. She sent it to my Pvt Msg mailbox in here.
I looked up the study & it's being done by Univ Calif, San Francisco.
There is no one on their principal staff with a name that approaches the name she is registered with on the site. Not even one w/ the same first name.
My first thought was "Scam."
If you all are interested, I'll contact UCSF & verify that there is a real person there that is contacting us, supposedly chosen at random. If so, I'll report back; if not, I'll report back. Being an ex- CIA deep cover operative, I'm good at this kind of skullduggery. Cough, cough.
