Hi, just joined because I don't understand my pacemaker at all. The lower chamber of my heart was destroyed by taking cipro. The lower chambers are controlled 100% by the pacemaker. But with any exercise my heart rate jumps to 110 or above and I get seriously out of breath. This seriously limits my ability to do much. My Dr. Says that this is normal and OK. I don't think so. I also get shock like pains that stop me in my tracks but my dr says that my pacemaker cannot shock me . I would like to feel better. What's up?

This doctor should join the local association of fiction writers and redirect his talent. He is great at making up stories.
In the meantime get a second opinion from a cardiologist not related to your current one.
