Who's on Line?

Is there anyone else whose name does not show in the Box on the right side listing members on line when they log in?

That's been my situation ever since that day last week when we were down for the day for system up grades.

Makes me feel like a "Man Without a Country."

It's fixed! I'm no longer a non-person.

My name just showed up in the "Who's on Line" Box.

Ha! Patch, your nefarious plan did not work.

Ya, I also just noticed while updating from my hospital bed. I had trouble also sending you a message. I've also noticed on private messages past history that recent messages are showing up where old messages were listed. Also getting worried about getting dropped off as it's been confusing already with 2 Don's. So hopefully when I have my surgery this Friday & can't find my spot that I'm not in another world !!

I show up. Maybe it likes me better? ;oP

I spoke with Blake about a week ago and they were doing some upgrades to the site. Maybe it will straighten itself out as they finish what they were working on?

If it's weird...

...it's gonna happen to me!

In general, computers don't like me. I wear steel toed safety shoes while working on mine - that way it fears me because I may re-boot at any time. There's an old saying that the threat of violence is more effective than violence, itself. But that threat must be credible. Jammies & bunny slippers are NOT a good uniform for working on a computer - it does not believe you are serious & inwardly sneers at you and laughs an evil, ghostly cackle while plotting viscious deeds to be perpetrated against you.

Back in the days when digital computers were humongous, slow & required key punch capability to get into them (circa 1964), the computer center where I taught an engineering course hated to see me come to run a program. I could always manage to find another bug in their compiler system that crashed the system. Usually, it was some command that told the computer to eventually divide by zero at some point in its processing.

As I look at the list of those on line, either you did a hit & run attack or you have the same exalted status I have - YOUR name isn't there either..

Have you enraged the computer Gremlins, also?
