Frank Passed Away Last Week
Posted by ElectricFrank on 2013-04-21 18:12
Hello, my name is John and I am Franks son. Frank passed away last week. I know he truly enjoyed being a part of the pacemaker club. He did not die from a failing heart or defective pacemaker. In fact I'm certain he would have wanted this post to actually read, "Slightly used pacemaker for sale. Perfectly calibrated and only slightly used. Installation instructions included. Sold as is."
While Frank was in great health for 82 he was also in a fair amount of pain. He chose to leave this world on his own terms and at his own time. If you have interacted with Frank then you know that he was determined and always willing to experiment with things. He was an engineer to the end.
I'll make attempts to monitor posts over the next couple of weeks and will try to answer any questions I can about his death and his life.

it is good to know that in the end death can be so happy. i also think of my brother who passed at 30 years of age and my parents now for a long time and my in laws. it does seem like they are far away but it also seems like there not as you get older like myself. i really believe that death is not the end so i do have faith that life is life everlasting.

I will truly miss the wisdom, humor and direction your dad gave me during some "tough times." May he rest in peace and be in a better place. Frank will be missed by all!
Thank you for the information and know we will all find him on our own journey. You and your family will be in my prayers.

How blessed you were to have such a wonderful father. I am one of the many many who was helped by his kind words and understanding. in fact, I would say he helped me make it through my first difficult year and showed me how to help others by just caring. ann

Frank was an invaluable member to the pm club. He always welcomed you to send him messages and was always there to help. He had his own way of looking at things. He will be missed. Our deepest condolences to you and your family.

I'm still having a very difficult time trying to process Frank's passing.
But knowing Frank as I did, he wouldn't want any of us to be sad, he would want us to celebrate his life and remember him as a funny & quick-witted man who loved life to the fullest. I know he wanted to be with his wife, so in a way it makes it a bit easier knowing they are together now.
But I still look for his weekly emails - and they are not there:(

I just wish that they weren't so far away, Peter, Frank and my Dad, just to name a few. I feel so sad when I think about them and then on the other hand, they must be having a wonderful time!!!! Wonderful intelligent men that I have known and now my Dad can know them too! Now that makes me smile and makes my heart happy!
