affected by workplace

Hi, this is probably a really daft question but its something that affected me today.

Iv had my pm 2 weeks now, and had to go into work today for an attendance meeting. As soon as i sat in the office with my manager i started to get a fuzzy head, and a weird spaced out feeling while talking to her, i then went to talk to some friends and i felt really spaced out, like i was drunk and dizzy, told them i had to get outside as felt strange, so i went home. These feelings continued for about an hour and i feel fine now.

Question is could the building made me feel like it, its only a respite centre, but its a new building with underfloor heating and i know there is sort of system in the roof for the heating.

i felt like i had felt when i was ill before having the pm fitted.
probably nothing to do with it but just found it strange.

Thank you x

Thanks, Yeh it was more of a feeling as tho the room swayed and moved in slow motion feeling(if that makes sense)
As i feel fine now im going to go back into work tommorow just to see if i feel the same.
It may be that its nothing to do with my pm, but im more curious now to see if it happens again lol.. only worry is if it does happen again, what am i supposed to do about returning to work, much as id love not to go back i need to.
I have got another pm check again next wednesday so i can ask if there was any need for concern.
thanks again

I agree, always check with EP 1st

but if PM OK then I would suggest that it May be sinus infection. I get somewhat wobbly & light headed when my sinus act up. Another thought, it may be anxiety as you just got back to work & some underlying anxiety esp in the two situations you mention. Hope it is something simple & you feel better soon.

return to work

I was off work for a long time and when I went back I experienced funny feelings. I think it was panic attack.
I also felt very apprehensive, at the time, about the reception after my long absence.

dizzy or vertigo

Just read your message and wondered if your episode was vertigo-like where the room appears to be spinning as it would after a fast round and round amusement ride or dizzy or lightheadedness. I just had a vertigo experience for the first time. Really scary. Have had PM for 2 months. Wonder if it possibly could be related? Do you think PM might have something to do with yours?

dizzy head

Hi there!

I remember, for me, in the early weeks, whenever I got together with friends for too long I would feel dizzy. I think it was a combination of doing too much too early and anxiety. As I recovered the less it happened.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Good luck with returning to work. :-)
