...one person reported that one was used in her work place & it alerted on her phone answering machine & the computer printer.

Another member had one alert throughout her house.

Not necessarily a particularly glowing record in my book.

If you read enough of our threads involving interference by stray fields, you'l find that it is extremely rare - pretty much restricted to a smallnumber of emes who are affected temporarily by the security pylons at the exits from stores and walkig into stores w/masses of electronics on display and operating - like TV sets.

My persona experience w/ a PM is it took a 240 Volt, 30 Amp cable feeding our water heater passing w/i 6 inches of my PM to affect it.
