Going back to work!

Just got told that work had a test for EMF completed and none of the electrical equipment I repair is in excess of the levels set by St. Judes or the University of Minnesota. So I am going back to work this after noon at 3pm! Scared and excited as been off since last October. I will post the test result papers as soon as I get a copy. Not sure where I will post them yet, but will let you all know. I am a Maintenance Electrician in a plastics extrusion factory. Wish me luck but I am sure I will be ok! Wow. I will let everyone know how it goes tomorrow morning on this post.

Well day two done! No issues except for sore feet. No bumps, flutters, no knock me down shocks. Everything golden! I do have a hoarse throat from speaking to all my well wishers though, but glad to have it. Feeling much better mentally also. Not the same old doom and gloom anymore. Where the heck did I put all my gardening stuff now? When will the snow go away? So many questions! Ha. I'm back people!

I have the same thoughts and reservations
driving a truck with a 15 speed road ranger
Ive been off for 2 weeks now and want to get back into it
I drove the car for the first time today power steering
of course
you yanks get it easy I have to change something like 1000 gears a day all done with my left arm not right like you guys coz Im in Australia and we drive on the opposite side of the road to you
thanks John

Good luck John

Since you are from Australia I would have thought everything you typed would have been upside down here. Ha. We (up here on the top of the planet) drive without shifting because its all downhill from here. You will be back in shape before you know it jamming gears with the best of them. It seems to get better everyday.
Thanks for your comments,
Terry

Thanks Terry

Ha Ha about the downhill bit
also the typing upside down
Ive used the same saying as I live
in Queensland which is half way up the east coast
to trvel down south just throw it out of gear
and coast down the map sorry to say it doesnt work
A bit over two weeks now and my left arm is getting better all the time
so Terry tell us what you drive
the wife has an 04 Ford Territory Ghia
a local AWD SUV twincam six and T bar auto
its smaller than an Explorer but bigger than a Mazda/Ford Escape
I have an 03 Fairmont Ghia same motor and trans but only rear wheel drive and my Midlife crisis car is a 1972 Mustang convertible
any catch you later

To tell you the truth I never even give it a second thought. While growing up it never stopped me from doing anything and to this day my girlfriend or my kids need to remind me that I have one!
