Motorcycle?

Hi, starting to think, (implant Jan 10th) about getting back onto my motorcycle.Being a 'boxer' engine there is always some vibration present. Does anyone have experience of how long after the op its safe to get aboard again, and also does the vibration, not a shaking, affect anything. Thanks. Brian

vibrations

If you have rate response turned on, your hr will likely increase from the vibration because the pm will think you are exerting. If you don't use rr, then you likely won't feel a thing. It's perfectly safe. You might want to give it 6 weeks, you'll be less likely to get sore from the vibrations, and less chance of jostling a lead loose before it's fully healed.

Thanks for info. My bikes a tourer style so I dont lean forward as on a sports bike, probably similar to a Harley. Maybe I will give it a couple more weeks. Some days I feel as if I could get on and go, the next I feel washed out so no consistency yet.

Hey man
Well i just waited for 1 half week till riding my bike.. And its a harley davidson sportster which means i do some leaning forward!
The only thing that kept me thinking was the stretching of the sscar.. But nothing else

Dont think about it. I know how much you wanna ride so just do it :)

Happy riding

BMW's don't vibrate enough to matter.

I waited about a month and a half after my implant, only because i wanted to be sure that my internal leads were healed enough, and the chance that i might drop my heavy bike, and have to try to pick it back up. So, I got another biker friend to ride along on his bike, for "back-up". We did a couple-hundred miler; had no problems. I was a little sore the next day, but not much more than i would've expected after that long of a lay-off. i say: WIND THERAPY is Good for you! -eric
