Definitely get a sleep study to rule out apnea. There is no established link but a high number of heart patients have apnea. Weight gain, allergies and other sinus issues, and other things can cause snoring. It could be as simple as your pillow. The other causes are merely annoying, but apnea is dangerous if left untreated. There are a lot of options for snoring- over the counter, prescription, surgical- but the first thing is to find out why.

Per comments above, sleep study is in order. The new CPAP's are a lot easier to use and work a lot better. Side benefits are that you will sleep better, feel more rested, feel more alert, and in general feel better.
Please get a sleep study soon.

I am just grateful to God that I lived long enough to have my ICD put in. So many people are not as lucky as us; even though we sometimes don't feel lucky.

Have you been evaluated for obstructive sleep apnea?
