According to my doctors, it is normal and is the scar tissue forming around the leads and device. It gets better.

New Pain
by SMITTY - 2013-02-11 08:02:46
Hi Kristy,
You have had your PM for at least 4 mo. and all healing should be complete. At 4 mo. the only signs of having a PM should just be that little lump under your collar bone and improvement (if any) in the way you feel. I have no idea what is causing your pain but it should not be happening so ask the dr.
Good luck,
Smitty
Get checked out

I agree with Smitty, not normal after 4 months. Have it looked at Kirsty. It will also ease your mind.

Tender still !
by lahbigbro6 - 2013-02-11 10:02:52
Well, I got my in 2011 still tender sometimes. I am very skinny on top, no fat ...sometimes I am still tender. I have been working out and my area gets tender. If I am worried, I go to the doc, even though I hate going !
Tender Still Too~

I also received mine in 2011 and still have tenderness. I especially get it if I sleep weird of work out heavily, but it is not unbearable. My Dr indicated it is probably scar tissue forming, and slight shifting of the PM. It has shifted a good distance from it's original resting place 3 years ago, but all tests show it is secure and still shocking away!
Dont get discouraged, the pain will continue to dissipate. But I concure, go have it looked at. It's always beter tp be safe and blah blah all that bull crap~
You know you're wired when...
You have a maintenance schedule just like your car.
