shooting pain and vibration

I been reading about the shooting pain some people are having with their defribrillator. I have told my doctor about my having about 6-7 shooting pain episodes a day. I had my defibrillator placed in June and the shooting pain has increased, not gotten better. My doctor said this is normal and nothing has changed. Its a normal healing process. I have had about two eppisodes of waking up with my body feeling like it has been vibrating. He said that was psycological? I am concerned about this because of the ICD recalls on the St jude medical devices. can someone tell me that I dont need to be concerned. It has been 6 months since inplant.

I am on my second pacer/icd and I have never had anything like that. Does not seem normal to me. Maybe try calling St Jude I hear there reps are very helpful. The number that came with my St Judes is 800 777 2237. Hope this helps.

I hade a St Jude with my first one. This one is a Medtronic.

Good Luck
