i have just been offered a job as a mechanic at a small recycing plant and it is a great job and i have fears that it will affect my pm and if any one can help me it would be very helpful. thank you

it has a 5 foot diameter drum that spins and seperates aluminum cans but as far as current or anything im not sure but if i am near it when the current is on will it affect my pm

It sounds like it is spinning the cans in a magnetic field which would affect the non magnetic aluminum cans differently than other materials. The field would have to be fairly strong and likely not well contained so it could affect your pacer.
