Hello everyone:
My medtronic PM was implanted on Dec, 5 2012 in Ohio, in my last visit with my EP all was OK, and since I moved temporarily to CA they sent me a Model 2490H monitor to send data back to Ohio. On the instruction manual, it says this monitor would work only with an analog landline phone which I do not have. My phone is digital through Time Warner cable and in our area most houses have digital landline. Just wondering should I try to use the digital landline anyway?. I appreciate any advice. Abbass

MsJanet, thank you, I did call Medtronic and they instructed me to call my EP's office to set up a test run, and they think actually it should work with Time Warner digital phone line.
I would find out if it works in the next few days.

Hey Abbass,
I also have a Medtronic and a home carelink monitor. My Dr. asked me to do a test run with it, so I called the Medtronic folks using the number that came with the booklet for the monitor. They were soooo helpful and didn't seem to mind my questions. They guided me through everything. I don't know exactly how to answer your question, but they will. Give them a call. The number I have for them is 1 (800) 551-5544.
Good Luck.
