1ST DAY POS OP

Hi all:
I finally had my PM implanted on Dec,5 and all went without a hitch. Today they discharged me home, I feel great and have taken only 2 Motrin for slight soreness around the incision area.My headaches, nausea, palpitations, and shortness of breath are gone however, my lightheadedness still has not disappeared completely. Does it take a while for this symptom to go away?
Thanks

Sounds like you are doing really well so far!!!! So very glad to hear you are feeling so much better. The dizziness could be leftover from whatever anesthesia they gave you. It could be that your settings will need tweaked a bit. Dehydration, not enough sleep, lots of things can cause it so it's hard to say when it will go away. I'd be super careful to eat well, drink a lot, sleep as much as you can and see how it goes. If you're still dizzy after the weekend, give your dr a call and ask to be checked.

Thanks Bikram, the only medication I take is Lipitor 10 mg daily, and I know that it also causes some dizziness but, it's not very common. Today I'm doing Ok so far, fingers crossed!!!

If you're taking any meds, that could be causing your symptoms. I had the same lightheadedness until my doc cut my beta blocker dosage in half. All has been well since then. Happy to hear that you're feeling better! Carol
