Your Moral Support

Gosh I am so greatful for the moral support you have given me. It is so comforting to know first of all that you are not alone in this situation and secondly that others reach out to comfort you with their experiences and incouragement.
I am supprised to see how resilient this 4 yr old child is, how amazingly she accepts all the medical procedures as though she understands what and why things are being done.
After her last surgery which she was put on a heart lung bypass machine I did notice a change in her personality. It was nothing bad, but still a change. She periodically talks about dying to me and reinacts the procedures. I just wonder if any one else has experienced this with their child...? Thanks for being there for me. Sally
