Can anyone tell me if it's OK to use a massage cushion or seat when having a pacemaker?

I don't think you can as the ones that I have seen have warnings on them saying that if you have a pacemaker not to use them. I was also surpised that the body fat scales say you can't use them either if you have a pacemaker.

Tricky one this. Probably not to be on the safe side, and if magnetic I wouldnt. But......in saying that I use the jaccuzi all the time that has a massaging effect! I try to keep the jets off my pm area as my rr is on.

Try it and see how you feel, they're all made differently. If there is a magnet near your chest, you might feel it. If you feel funny, stay off it. It won't do any harm, it just might not feel good. I feel funny when they're turned on but am ok just sitting in one, like for a pedicure.
If you use rate response, the vibration will make the pm think you are working out and might raise your hr.
