Logistics

Hey everybody.

As a new member of this community I would like to ask you sty. 2 weeks ago I've got PM implanted. My sick leave is about to end on Friday. I am wondering ... do you think my work as a logistics manager which includes A LOT of phoning can be a problem. Mostly I use IP telephony but also a cell phone. During the day I can have between 200 - 400 calls. Can this be dangerous?

What do you think?

Hi, i got my pm about 10 years ago while i was still busy with my articles at a law firm. At that stage we did debt collections and i had to phone all day every day. I never had a problem.

The best will be to ask yor doctor about it, 200 to 400 calls a day... that's a lot.

it's fine

phones are not an issue

Dangerous? Yes...

...But only if doing it while driving. Nothing about an office phone is at all dangerous to a PM or its host. Even a cell phone offers no risk. UNLESS you press the speaker of it right next to your PM. Then the magnet in the speaker MIGHT affect your PM - but only temporarily by slipping it into the TEST mode.

Just don't hold the phone hand set between shoulder & ear you might irritate the sore area where the PM is located. But you'll learn that if you do hold the phone that way.

Only 2 weeks?????

I can't believe your Dr is letting you return to work after only 2 weeks. When I had my PM put in, I had to stay out for 6 weeks. FMLA will cover you to stay out longer.

You know you're wired when...

Your ICD has a better memory than you.
