Prongs are amde of what metals?

I may have to eventually have a pace maker fitted. I am allergic to Cobalt and Nickel and need to know are these metals involved in the manufacture pf the prongs before going any further. I ahd to ahve tests pre a hip replacemnt and have a ceramiic prothesis because of this. Please help me with soem info. Thanks.

Thank you for your help thus far. Nickel however is a base metal used in others. I sent a letter to my cardio with my reactions listed. No answer, maybe because I am not getting it yet... The infor that you ahve given is helpful though so thanks. Of course I am nervous in case it ends up I have to have one fitted due to me reacting to the meds to regulate the heart beat.

company of the maunfacture of the PM you will be getting. I'd ask your Cardio Dr which model he plans to use & either his office can give you the 800 # or they all have web sites with their #'s.

The pm itself is primarily titanium. I have no idea what the rest is but I'm sure they can tell you if you ask your dr what model he's planning for you.
