WELCOME! You are dealing with a lot. Receiving a device without time to process what is happening is hard, but you can do it. The same happened to me, silent heart virus, 2004. We are here, and we can choose to exist or work our way through to a good life. Be true and good to yourself. Life is full of changes that can break us or make us stronger. Our devices make us stronger physically. The rest is up to us. When you have specific questions, just ask. Take care. Hopeful Heart

I can't address most of your conditions, but I wanted to welcome you. As far as the pacemaker, you should hopefully notice some improvement in energy and the pacemaker will keep your heart rate from dropping like it did. It takes time to heal and get used to it all at first, but you will.

You will be hearing from others, if not tonight, then tomorrow. Ask any questions or concerns you may have, this is a very knowledgeable and kind group. You will find support here.

Welcome again,

Grateful Heart

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.
