It means you need to call and get it checked. Is it an older pm, is it possible your battery needs replaced?
beeping warning

I was told that a high pitch beeping sound is telling that you battery is getting low. I just had my ICD check, and was allowed to hear what I should be expecting. It sounds like a very high pitch noise, similar to when you have ringing in your ears. Since my battery will need to be changed in about 6 months, they wanted to make sure that I knew what to listen for. I was told when you hear this noise, you should get checked out, but you still have about 2-3 months battery life left.
I agree with everyone else....you have to have it check out!

If you have a pacemaker that has the ability to make audible sounds as a warning.... I would suggest that you call your Dr. Today.
I have an "Accent" PM and it has these features. Many of the newer PM, some older, have these features. If you're PM doesn't then perhaps it is something else?
