Hi guys thanks for ya comments and must say yes you can come pre occupied by all the horror stories about stuff and were all different how we deal with things i must say iv used my left arm and most of the stiffnes has gone i dont raise it above shoulder height and lift with that side but refuse to just let it hang there imobile that will just make recovery much worse but am only human and worry about moving leads. I feel so much better and would say ready for the gym but thats a no go yet 4 weeks to go so out for walks i go.

I am just now 40 but have had these blackouts all my life. I am thrilled with the pacer and would do it all over again.
Washing Hair

Hi Kimbo,
I am now on day 12 and because I live alone I had to learn quickly how to fend for myself.
Washing hair is easy with one arm as long as you hold on to something with your left arm. I used to have an elaborate hair style and now it's very casual and comfortable. Great excuse to not wear a bra...I just throw on a big hoodie when I need to go out and yes I am wearing baggier tops. I have found it very easy to drive a few miles locally although will more than likely be stopped for not wearing a seat belt very soon. I did order some grocerys online last week and have them delivered because I needed some heavy items, but have decided going forward to just buy 6 to 12 items at a time for awhile and have them bagged lightly. Thanks to all the advice I have received I make sure to use my left arm quite a bit...just not above my shoulder. Everything takes longer to do but please don't baby your left arm too much. Best of luck, Carol
