% of time pacer working

my pacer is working almost 100% of time. one Cardio told me i needed an angioplasty soon. another said 100 % is normal and if it were him he wouldn't have the surgery in my condition

I have had 2 nuclear stress tests with no sign of blockage. i have very low cholesterol, I exercise and eat well

Puzzled as to who to believe and what to do

Any of us with complete block are paced 100%. I've been doing it since 2004.

If the cardio based an angioplasty recommendation on 100% pacing, run, don't walk as far from him as you can.

cheers,

pacing

Many of us pace 100% of the time, it's very common.

Angioplasty is for clogged arteries. Pacing is for electrical problems, completely unrelated. Did he maybe mean EP study? They go in the same way as angioplasty but they're just looking at the electrical signals, not doing anything with the arteries. Either way, if you feel good, have no symptoms, are able to do what you want, have no indications of problems, no way. I would not have anything invasive simply because I pace a lot. I know why I pace a lot, I feel good, what would be the point? Other than running up the bill and wasting my time. If you have problems, that's different, an EP study can give you answers.

I am 100% paced. Arteries clear. If arteries clear no need for angioplasty. May want to check with Dr and make sure that what they ment.

Good Luck
