Any one else notice slight dizziness up to a few years before needing PM replaced? When I was at the grocery store today I noticed feeling a little dizzy after I looked up, then back down. I have about 3 more years of battery life left. But I've noticed this with prior pacemakers, too & wondered if others have noticed this as well.
Thanks
V

It's not your battery. Pm's are fully functional right up until nearly the end. There is a 3 month warning, Elective 'Replacement Mode, where it is still fully functional. At the end of that time, it switches to End of Life mode. If you pace a lot, you will feel this immediately because it turns off all of the extra features and paces at a steady rate, usually 60. This lasts about 3 months also. There are no other modes.
Many things can make us dizzy. You should mention it to your dr, maybe get some blood work. If it's related to vision, see an eye dr also.
You know you're wired when...
You can finally prove that you have a heart.
