So glad you are here to tell it. Thank God for the first responders and doctors and nurses who would not give up. You have some story to tell your future children. This is a great forum for learning more about our devices and conditions.

Take care and tell us more about your story. Are you still in school now, what are you doing? I know it doesn't end there.

Yes i am currently in school as a Senior at Fleetwood High School and I will be going to Penn Tech to further my education

Have you been shocked while working out? And are you on beta blockers, if so how much? What heart rate is your icd set to go off? I've never talked to another young athlete with an icd. Mine has shocked me many times unnecessarily from getting my heart rate too high. I had scd and my icd implanted this Feb.
