Hi,
My dual chamber pacemaker was put in just over 18 months ago. I'm 88 now.
My card pacemaker patient card states.....
Basic Rate 50 min MODE 0 002
Atrial lead, SN Selox JT 53 BIOTRONIK
Ventricular lead Medtronic SN type 4092-58 cm
I've no idea what these figures mean, but last time I had the PM checked, I was told I barely use it now. Can someone tell me what these figures mean? Thanks, dillymar

Not familiar with the Biotronic

Hey, someone older than me. I'm 82.
I suspect the Basic Rate 50 min is what most of us know as the lower limit. This means if your HR tries to go below 50 the pacemaker takes over prevents it from happening.
The MODE settings aren't familiar to me.

Base Rate, Lower Rate, Basic Rate. All the same thing.
I have no idea what those numbers afterwards mean. I've never seen it before.
You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.

Basic Rate is what Biotronik calls their Lower Limit, or Base Rate ETC. Just like Frank said your set to pace only if your own heart goes lower than 50, which makes sense why your not pacing much. We only set 50 to promote your own heartbeat, otherwise it goes to 60.
The lead information for your Atrial and Ventricular lead is just the manufacturer of the wires, doesn't effect operation of the pacemaker.
The mode you put doesn't make sense to me either.
