Hello from a new member

I received my PM on Aug 20 for tachy/brachy. Quite a shock and still coming to terms. This website has been amazingly helpful and I'll continue to monitor. Going for my first post op check next week, with a lot of questions.

Some docs have a tendency to tap dance around questions they don't have definitive answers for. Be assertive. If they didn't answer the question, ask it again.

In my opinion, EPs and CTs do a poor job of preparing a patient for post op pain, side effects, and symptoms to NOT ignore. They darned sure didn't prepare me and denied what was wrong.

Mortisha,

I am a recent recipient of this electronic gadget too. I go see my doctor for the first follow up visit in 4 days.

Perhpas you could tell me a little bit about your 1st visit - what you did, what you discussed and what you did not discuss that you wished you had.

Thanks

First check up
