Stuck on 60 part two

I went to the ER this morning because I was weak in my legs and felt very bad and was overcome with anxiety. The doctor ran a few test to see what might be causeing my heart rate to stay around 60bpm, even after some walking and exercise. Well first of all I was dehydrated and electrolytes were low also, they put me on a bag and 45 minutes later, my HR had increased to 77, about what it runs during being up and around. Doctor said that electrolytes and being hydrated was huge in heart function. especially in the electrical part of it. When I left the ER, I felt new again.

My indicator on water need is that I unless I need to make a bathroom stop at least every 2 hours I'm not getting enough. Best lab test there is.

Dehydrated

This can cause all sorts of problems. Living in the desert I deal with the potential all the time. I put a 2 qt container of water on the kitchen sink in the morning and make sure I at least finish it by the end of the day. Even without it getting bad enough to cause cardiac problems I find I feel low energy if I don't drink enough.

One often missed aspect of drinking plenty of water is that it can deplete salt. In the old days before the low salt craze we carried salt tablets. I think they are missing something with the very low salt diets. I have a reasonable amount each day and seem to be doing great.

Made sure I had water early this morning and ate something as well. Feel fine.
