Seems as if my heart rate will not increase much over 60bpm as it is set at rest, even moving around and walking doesnt increase it the last few days.

I can't remember, do you have av block or sss? If you have av block, something weird is going on. If you have sss, you may need rate response adjusted. Regardless, call and ask to be checked.

I read moments ago that quitting smoking can drop your heart rate by as much as 20 points in just days, hopeing this is what my deal is.
No block as I am told

Heart Rate

Congrats on quiting smoking! However I would still think that you should be able to get you heart rate up with activity. If you can't get it over 60's you may have a conduction issue with your AV Node and I would definately get it checked out. How are you feeling and. do you know what you normally ran with activity?
How about battery depletion

When the battery in your pacer reaches a set level of discharge the pacer switched to a mode that saves power. The 62-65bpm is common for some makes. I suggest contacting the clinic that adjusts your pacer and ask to have it checked. If it is actually in this mode the next step is for it to fail completely so it's important to look into it.

She said all is well with PM, most of my issues are most likely anxiety from the quitting of smoking and dropping some of my meds as Paxil, i still wonder if Paxil played a role in this SSS I now have. After 3 months off of it, my heart is hardly noticeable, soft beat and all after I got off Paxil, but still have SSS.
Yes I am still an emotional wreck from the PM implant:( in July 2012.
not dropping

Not going up on demand is not the same as your resting hr dropping. It sounds like your settings need adjusted to give you a boost when your heart should be going up on its own. Call!! It's an easy fix.
Don't worry

dont worry , i think that is the prgramming of the PM , mine at night is the same , set at 60 from 10pm - 5am ... but it will increase just not go below 60. As long at it doesnt go below 60 you are fine. Try to worry about something else , there are plenty of things around us all to worry about , your PM is working and if it wasnt , you would know. I find that relaxation music really helps at night. put your hand on your stomach so you can feel yourself breathe , its a comfort feeling.

I quit smoking 6 days ago and yes I am going through some crazy withdrawals and anxiety, but my heart rate should be increasing while moving about. A little nervous about it. its hanging around 62-65 bpm
