Twitches, pulses

I got my pm 3 days ago. I get random twitches or jerks in my abdomen, seems like below the rib cage on the left side. Every few hours I was getting 3 or 4 in a row. Sometimes sitting and at times while lying down. The last time it was like 16 in row. Is this any ways half normal or not? I am on the thin side. If a lead was displaced would it not be more constant? I am getting a little concerned.

Do you see your abdomen area visibly twitching/spasming/jumping? Is this when you hunch over or lean towards your left sid? I know you say PM, but do you by chance have a 3-lead system?
Went to the ER

Went to hospital ER and got checked out. They did ECG, blood work and x-ray and consulted an EP. Everything looked good so they sent me home. I guess it was just one of those things with no present explanation. Maybe I'm just too thinny ;). I'll phone the PM Clinic tomorrow to let them know, they may want to do an interrogation. Thanks. call

I'd give a call just to be on the safe side. A displaced lead is not always constant. If it's not anchored properly it can move around and do just what you described. Fingers crossed all is well and it's just part of healing! Let us know how you are doing.
Ok

I have a 2 lead Medtronic pm and was not doing any contortions :)
I have not had any spasming for over 10 hours. So that is good. It is a holiday here in Canada but I will try phoning the PM Clinic and let them what has been happening. Thanks for the comments.
Twitching, jumping sensations...

When received my PM just a year ago this month within a day or two was having that twitching jumping inside the lower rib care area. Had to go to the doc's and an adjustment was made on the computer thingy and it has been good as gold since. Get it checked out and it will be fine....good luck!
Better now

I thought I should update this. Two weeks after the implant I saw my cardiologist and he had the nurse tech turn the voltage down a little and the twitching has not been a problem since. Thanks for all the comments. Shepheart

Hope it stays that way! As long as you're not dizzy, faint, etc it can wait a day or two.
